Runner remembers, actors on your internal apps, and pins that stay put

Runner keeps your conversation across sessions, so a refresh never loses a thread. The macOS app can drive actors through your own browser, logged in as you already are, so they can reach internal apps with no extra setup. Push notifications join email and Slack, and feedback pins stay where they were placed.

  • Runner remembers your conversationNew

Runner (Cmd/Ctrl+I) now keeps your thread in the workspace, so closing the panel or refreshing the page never loses it. Start a fresh chat any time from the panel header.

  • Run actors on your internal appsNew

In the macOS app, Settings > Workers has a "Use this device" card that drives actors through your own browser in a dedicated profile. Log into VPN or SSO once and every task on that worker inherits the session, with no CLI or Docker to set up.

  • Push notificationsNew

Choose push alongside email and Slack in notification preferences, so activity that matters reaches you even when Stunt Double is not the open tab.

  • Know when your feedback is resolvedNew

When someone resolves your pinned comment, you get an inbox item, plus a push or email if you want one, so closed loops do not slip past you.

  • Press C to drop a pinNew

Visitors on sites with the widget can press C to start placing a pin without reaching for the floating button. Turn the shortcut off per project if it clashes with your own.

  • Pins that stay putImproved

Pins now remember their anchor element and scroll position, so they stay on the spot the poster clicked even when images load late or the layout shifts.

  • Claude Opus 4.8 by defaultImproved

Checklists, interviews, insights, chat and Runner now run on Claude Opus 4.8, with prompt caching on every multi-step loop.

  • Faster and better isolatedImproved

Tighter access controls, restored database indexes and fewer redundant queries, so the app feels quicker and workspace data stays better separated.

  • Desktop polishImproved

The macOS window drags from the title bar again, and automatic updates fetch releases more reliably.
